I can help with:
Implementation, certification and if required ongoing auditing of an ISO 45001 H&S management system
Identifying areas for improvement in health and safety to reduce your risk and establish pragmatic controls
Migration from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001. (Valid certification to OHSAS 18001 expires in March 2021)
Identifying and evaluating compliance with legislative H&S requirements and codes of practice
Techniques to maximise employee engagement and ensure you receive value from your management system
Training and awareness sessions, including senior management briefings and internal auditing
Coaching you and/or your colleagues to be able to maintain the management system, carry out audits so you don’t have to depend on a consultant longer term
What is ISO 45001?
The first international standard for health and safety creates the framework to eliminate hazards, reduce risks to prevent work-related injury and ill health, and manage legal compliance.
ISO 45001 (and OHSAS 18001 before it), are often cited requirements in tenders or pre-qualification questionnaires, allowing you to demonstrate to clients that you take health and safety seriously.
ISO 45001 was published in 2018 to replace OHSAS 18001 by March 2021 and brings some exciting if not challenging developments over and above its predecessor. It can be difficult to implement/certify without expertise, but a very powerful tool once in place.
